Issues of Improving the Legal Framework for Ensuring Openness, Transparency and Accountability in the Activities of Prosecutorial Bodies

This article examines issues related to improving the legal framework for ensuring openness, transparency, and accountability in the activities of prosecutorial bodies. It analyzes legal mechanisms aimed at ensuring public access to information about prosecutorial activities, protecting citizens' right to information, and strengthening the accountability of public authorities to society. Particular attention is paid to legal reforms implemented in the Republic of Uzbekistan, existing challenges, and prospects for their resolution. Based on an examination of international experience, the article develops proposals and recommendations for improving legal mechanisms that promote openness, transparency, and accountability in the activities of prosecutorial bodies.
