Peningkatan Kesadaran Hukum Masyarakat Desa Melalui Sosialisasi Pencegahan Kekerasan Dalam Rumah Tangga (KDRT) dan Perlindungan Perempuan

Domestic Violence (KDRT) is a social and legal problem that can threaten the safety, dignity, and human rights, especially of women. Low legal awareness of the community, limited understanding of forms of violence, and lack of knowledge about reporting and victim protection mechanisms are factors that can hinder efforts to prevent and handle domestic violence. Therefore, community service activities are needed through legal socialization aimed at increasing the understanding of village communities regarding domestic violence prevention and women's protection. This service activity is carried out using socialization and legal education methods that include the delivery of materials, interactive discussions, and questions and answers with participants. The material provided includes the definition and forms of domestic violence, the factors causing and impact, victims' rights, the legal basis for women's protection, as well as reporting procedures and access to assistance services. The results of the activity show that legal socialization is an educational means to increase public understanding of the importance of preventing domestic violence, recognizing behaviors that include domestic violence, and understanding the rights of victims to obtain protection and justice. Interactive discussions also provide a space for participants to submit questions and obtain explanations about steps that can be taken when facing or knowing about cases of domestic violence in the surrounding environment. This activity is expected to encourage the formation of collective awareness to reject all forms of violence, build healthy family relationships, and create a safe village environment for women. Thus, the socialization of domestic violence prevention and women's protection is a strategic step in strengthening community legal awareness and supporting efforts to protect women's rights in a sustainable manner.
