It is distinguished by its very small (1–3 × 1–2 mm) and white basidiomata, broadly ellipsoid to subglobose basidiospores measuring 6.3–11 × 5.1–9 μm and inhabiting Miscanthus sp. and Trachycarpus fortunei. Basidiomata annual, gregarious, gelatinous when fresh, hard when dry. Pilei 1–3 × 1–2 mm, conchoid or subcircular; pileal surface white (A 1) when fresh, slightly shrunken and darkened upon drying, transparent with a reticulate pattern matching the pores below, glabrous; margin straight, crenulate, context thin, transparent. Hymenophore small, gelatinous, poroid, with 4–16 pores per basidiocarp; mature pores 0.2–0.5 mm in diam., round to polygonal, larger near the base and smaller near the edge, the marginal pores often incomplete; tubes up to 0.1 mm long. Stipe absent. Microstructures. Basidia 12–23 × 5–9 μm, clavate, with guttules, 4 - spored, sterigmata 5–9 μm long; basidioles similar in shape to basidia, slightly smaller. Gloeocystidia and acanthocysts absent. Cheilocystidia occur along dissepiment edges, 17–25 × 11–17 μm, broom-shaped or irregular with small diverticulate projections on the sides and at the apex, thin-walled.
