Potentials in Variable Network Games

Variable network situations combine a network situation with a probability distribution on the set of all networks. In this framework, the decision maker does not know which particular network will materialize but has formed a well-defined probability distribution indicating the probabilities of the various networks materializing. I extend the concept of network potentials defined for network situations to variable network situations.

Abstract

Variable network situations combine a network situation with a probability distribution on the set of all networks. In this framework, the decision maker does not know which particular network will materialize but has formed a well-defined probability distribution indicating the probabilities of the various networks materializing. I extend the concept of network potentials defined for network situations to variable network situations.
