IMPROVING RADIATION SAFETY TECHNOLOGIES IN X-RAY DIAGNOSTIC ROOMS

This study focuses on improving radiation safety technologies in X-ray diagnostic rooms through the implementation of modern technological and organizational approaches. The research examines the effectiveness of radiation protection systems, optimization of X-ray exposure parameters, dosimetric monitoring, structural shielding, and the application of digital radiography technologies. Particular attention is given to reducing unnecessary radiation exposure among patients and healthcare professionals while maintaining diagnostic image quality. The study highlights the importance of integrating automated exposure control systems, personal dosimetry, equipment quality assurance, and radiation monitoring technologies into routine clinical practice. The findings emphasize that a comprehensive radiation protection strategy combining technological modernization and organizational measures is essential for improving occupational safety, minimizing radiation-related risks, and enhancing the quality of diagnostic imaging services.
