LEVEL UNDERSTANDING RIGHT AND OBLIGATION PARTICIPANT EDUCATOR THROUGH PANCASILA LEARNING AT STATE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL 1 LHOKNG

This study aims to describe the level of students' understanding of rights and obligations through Pancasila learning at SMA Negeri 1 Lhoknga. The focus of the study includes students' experiences in understanding rights and obligations, students' interpretation of the differences between the rights they receive and the obligations they must fulfill, as well as the imbalance in students' understanding of rights and obligations in Pancasila learning. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The research subjects consisted of 30 students from classes XI IPA-1 and XI IPA-2 as respondents to an open-ended questionnaire, while 8 students were purposively selected as interview informants. Data were collected through open-ended questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that students' understanding of rights was more evenly distributed than their understanding and implementation of obligations. Students were able to explain rights as something they receive and obligations as something that must be carried out as a form of responsibility. Students were also able to provide examples and distinguish between rights and obligations in school life. However, the understanding and implementation of obligations were not yet fully consistent. Based on the categories and research data, the understanding and implementation of obligations in class XI IPA-2 appears higher than those in class XI IPA-1. The imbalance in understanding was mainly reflected in the gap between students' ability to recognize their obligations and their ability to carry them out consistently in school life. Pancasila learning helps students understand the relationship and balance between rights and obligations through the values of responsibility, discipline, and concern for others. Therefore, the understanding and implementation of obligations still need to be strengthened through habituation and the application of Pancasila values in everyday life.
