Edukasi dan Pendampingan Ekonomi Hijau bagi Komunitas UMKM Menuju Produksi Ramah Lingkungan

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in the economy; however, the adoption of environmentally friendly production practices remains constrained by limited knowledge and resources. This community service program aimed to improve MSME practitioners’ and the public’s understanding of the green economy and its application to production processes. The program was conducted online on September 26, 2026, through a webinar in collaboration with the SSQ Holistik Internasional Community in Malang, Indonesia, involving 40 participants comprising MSME practitioners and members of the general public. The activities included educational presentations, interactive discussions, and pre-test and post-test assessments. The data were analyzed descriptively by comparing the participants’ mean scores before and after the program. The results showed that the mean score increased from 62 to 78, representing an improvement of 16 points (25.81%) relative to the baseline score. This increase indicates improved participant understanding of the green economy, particularly resource efficiency, waste reduction, the use of environmentally friendly materials, and sustainable packaging. The program represents an initial step toward strengthening MSME capacity to understand environmentally friendly production principles. However, improved understanding does not necessarily demonstrate changes in actual business practices. Therefore, continued assistance and monitoring of green practice implementation are needed to encourage behavioral changes and support business sustainability.
