Structural Non‑Existence of Magnetic Monopoles within the Charge‑Cluster Theory Hypothesis (CCTH): A Fundamental Argument for Magnetism as an Intrinsic Property of the Electron
The search for magnetic monopoles in conventional physics is built upon mathematical solutions and theoretical constructions. From Dirac’s string singularity to topological‑soliton solutions in gauge‑field theories, the magnetic monopole remains a mathematically conceivable object, yet it has never been confirmed experimentally. Based on the postulates of the Charge‑Cluster Theory Hypothesis (CCTH), this work presents an alternative reasoning path: positive and negative electrons are the fundamental physical units capable of generating magnetism in the universe. The electron itself acts as the smallest magnetic pole unit carrying intrinsic magnetic moment. All macroscopic magnetic fields, magnetic materials, and magnetic effects of electric current are collective manifestations arising from ordered alignment and vector superposition of vast numbers of electron magnetic moments. As free‑state electromagnetic energy packets, photons possess no intrinsic electric or magnetic fields. Accordingly, magnetism is not an independent field property but an intrinsic attribute of electrons regarded as bound‑state electromagnetic energy packets. No magnetic charge can exist independently of electrons. Within the underlying material structure described by CCTH, there is no physical room for magnetic monopoles. Their “non‑existence” is not merely a consequence of insufficient experimental detection; instead, it follows necessarily from the ontology of fundamental entities. This paper proposes a testable comparative experiment using metallic conductors and closed‑shell electrolyte‑solution conductors under equal‑current conditions, to verify the microscopic picture that magnetic effects of electric current originate from collective stacking of electron intrinsic magnetic moments. Together with previously proposed experimental schemes including polarized scattering and baryon‑antibaryon annihilation measurements, this forms an empirical test matrix for the theoretical claims of CCTH. This article clarifies the conceptual boundary between CCTH and mainstream monopole theories, provides an alternative account for charge quantization, and explicitly states open problems and falsifiability criteria of the hypothesis.
