EVALUATION OF FOOTBALL SKILLS OF BANDA ACEH PORA ATHLETES TOWARDS THE 2026 ACEH JAYA PORA

The individual skills of football players are the primary key in building effective teamwork and handling dynamic attacking and defending situations. This quantitative descriptive study aims to evaluate the basic football technical skill level of Banda Aceh PORA athletes. The study involved a total population of 20 athletes using total sampling. Data collection utilized the Winarno Football Playing Skill Test (2006), measuring five key components: heading, passing and stopping, dribbling, target shooting, and shooting time. Data were analyzed via standard T-Score conversion and descriptive statistics. Results showed that the athletes' basic technical abilities were generally in the good category with an average score of 58. Specifically, 5 athletes (25%) achieved Very Good, 13 athletes (65%) achieved Good, and 2 athletes (10%) reached Moderate, with none falling into Poor or Very Poor. This proves that the vast majority of athletes have mastered fundamental football techniques well.
