Anatomi Imajinasi: Dialektika Realitas dan Estetika Bahasa dalam Cerpen Siswa Kelas XI SMA
This study aims to describe the transformation of reality into imaginative constructions in short stories written by eleventh-grade high school students. The focus of the research is directed at how empirical experiences and daily realities are processed into literary forms through imagery, symbols, figures of speech, and aesthetic narratives. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with document analysis techniques applied to the eleventh-grade students' short story texts. The research data consists of textual excerpts containing elements of reality, imagination, and literary forms. The analysis was conducted descriptively and interpretively through a textual reading of the imaginative structures within the short stories. The results indicate that reality in the students' short stories does not appear as a direct reproduction of facts, but rather undergoes a transformation through an imaginative process that creates a new aesthetic world. Imagination in these short stories manifests through the symbolization of experience, the deformation of reality, the creation of emotional atmosphere, and the use of figurative language that enhances the text's aesthetic effect. The findings reveal that the eleventh-grade students' short stories possess both representational and creative capacities in building a dialectical relationship between reality and literary form.
