Pemberdayaan UMKM Kerupuk Perusahaan Dagang Putra Jaya melalui Legalitas Usaha dan Media Promosi
Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) played a strategic role in village-level economies, yet many still operated without legal status or adequate promotional systems. This community service activity was carried out at PD Putrajaya, a small-scale cracker (kerupuk) manufacturing enterprise in Kerta Mukti Village, Haurwangi Subdistrict, Cianjur Regency, as part of the KKN Sisdamas program of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The activity aimed to empower the business owner through three forms of assistance: processing a business identification number, facilitating halal certification through the self-declaration scheme, and designing and installing a promotional banner. The participatory Sisdamas approach was applied through four cycles, namely initial socialization and community dialogue, social mapping and community organizing, participatory planning and program synergy, and program implementation with monitoring and evaluation, with the business owner positioned as the main partner throughout the process. The results showed that PD Putrajaya obtained a legal business identity, gained a clearer understanding of the halal certification procedure, and acquired a promotional banner that strengthened product recognition among nearby consumers. These findings indicated that legal assistance, halal certification guidance, and visual promotional media served as complementary, low-cost interventions that could be replicated by other student service teams to strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of small-scale food enterprises in rural areas.
