Where Did Zeus Put Kronos? Tartarus, the Rings, and the Lock at the Pole
Saturn is the only planet in the solar system whose polar geometry matches a classical prison. Five Titans are named in the myth as Zeus's prisoners: Kronos, Iapetus, Coeus, Crius, Hyperion. Oceanus sat out the war and walks free. The six Hecatoncheires — hundred-handed guards — stand watch. Saturn's north pole carries a single hexagonal vortex, six vertices, stable for over forty years, thirty thousand kilometers across. The rings are a flattened disk of ice and rock held by the planet's gravity — a cage. The hexagon is the lock. This paper maps the myth's roster onto Saturn's measurable structure and lists three falsifiable checks from Cassini data. Volume three of the lightning-equalization trilogy. Volume one: Earth. Volume two: Jupiter.
