Media Augmented Reality Interaktif Untuk Pembelajaran Mitigasi Bencana Banjir Di Sekolah Dasar
Disaster mitigation education, starting from the elementary school level, is essential for equipping students with knowledge regarding flood risks and safety measures to be taken before, during, and after a disaster. This study aims to develop Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media for flood disaster mitigation and to assess its validity, practicality, and student response. The study employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the Four-D (4D) model, which consists of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. Product validation involved nine experts: three subject matter experts, three media experts, and three language experts. Practicality testing involved assessments from four teachers, while the student response evaluation involved six fifth-grade students from two elementary schools in Dharmasraya Regency, West Sumatra. Data were analyzed descriptively using Aiken’s V coefficient and percentage scores. The validation results yielded an average Aiken’s V value of 0.906. Teacher assessments resulted in scores of 88%, 91%, 97%, and 88%, with an average of 91%, categorizing the media as "highly practical." Meanwhile, student response questionnaires yielded scores of 69%, 91%, 91%, 94%, 88%, and 100% across the aspects of motivation, interest, comprehension of the material, ease of learning, learning experience, and satisfaction with use. These findings indicate that the developed AR media is valid according to expert assessments, considered practical by teachers, and received positively by students. This media has the potential to serve as an alternative tool to support flood disaster mitigation education in elementary schools.
