The Backyard Truth Illusion, Part II: A Screening Cure. A short paper proposing a structural classifier for fabricated-post patterns

Part I argued that X's central epistemic failure is the manufacture of truth's appearance —fabrication rendered indistinguishable from reporting by format flattening, engagementsorting, delayed correction, and monetized conspiracy. https://zenodo.org/records/23922698 Part I was diagnostic. This paper is prescriptive, and deliberately modest. I propose a small feed-forward artificial neural network that takes sixteen structural attributes of a post and outputs a pattern-match probability: the likelihood that a post exhibits the structural signature of known fabrication. The architecture is specified explicitly — a two-hidden-layer multilayer perceptron (32 → 16 units) over a fixed-length tabular input vector — and sequence models are rejected on the grounds that the inputs carry no order. I argue that this instrument is useful precisely because it does not read for truth: it detects the shape of the illusion, not its content. I also argue, at equal length, why such a classifier cannot be a verdict, must be reported as a banded flag rather than apercentage, and risks becoming a new illusion if deployed without that discipline. The cure, in short, is a thermometer — not a judge, and not a percentage that pretends to be one. Includes Appendix A (per-feature extraction specification for all sixteen inputs) and Appendix B (why the platform will not deploy the instrument as specified).
