Normalizers in the category of topological groups

We show that the category of morphisms of topological groups admits split extension classifiers and hence the category of topological groups admits normalizers. We give explicit descriptions of both normalizers and of split extension classifiers of morphisms of topological groups in terms of split extension classifiers of topological groups.

Abstract

We show that the category of morphisms of topological groups admits split extension classifiers and hence the category of topological groups admits normalizers. We give explicit descriptions of both normalizers and of split extension classifiers of morphisms of topological groups in terms of split extension classifiers of topological groups.
