The Dark Energy Debt: Cosmological Expansion as Thermodynamic Interest on Cosmic Volition
Paper 95 does not claim that the physical universe is a graph, that its expansion has been derived from general relativity, or that dark energy has been shown to be thermodynamic interest on a volitional debt. It shows, in one reproducible Metropolis experiment on a degree-regular graph, what happens when the debt computed in Paper 94 is serviced by creating space: a universe with no debt creates none (0 of 150,000 proposals, a = 1.0000); a frozen debt produces a two-tick burst that stops at the predicted n\* = n₀q₀/q\* (and overshoots it by 9%, because space cannot be destroyed); a compounding debt produces sustained exponential expansion with H = r/3 (measured ratio 0.9898, and 0.99993 in the deterministic limit), w = −1.0065, Λ = r²/3 and ρ_vac = 2μ; the ignition threshold sits exactly at q\* = √(2μ/c); and the whole phenomenon exists only when 2μ < c q₀². The cosmological constant is shown to be a *reading* of the model's price list, not an explanation of its magnitude.
