Women Economic Empowerment dalam Penguatan Ekonomi Desa

This community service initiative aims to identify, classify, and optimize local resource potential to boost the financial independence and organizational capacity of women farmer groups. The primary challenges faced by the partners include an abundance of home-grown papayas that remain underutilized, alongside the absence of a structured, clear, and sustainable management system for their joint business activities. A participatory approach was employed, encompassing program outreach, technical training, intensive mentoring, periodic evaluation, and a focus on long-term sustainability. The results demonstrate improved member understanding regarding technical aspects and production cost calculations shifting from a minority to a majority of members as well as the adoption of digital marketing via online marketplaces using a pre order (PO) system. Tangible impacts include increased production efficiency, reduced product waste, enhanced consumer appeal, and market expansion. The program proves that interventions based on experiential learning, cost analysis, packaging innovation, and digital marketing transformation can strengthen the sustainability of micro enterprises run by women's groups. Further recommendations include ongoing mentoring and the optimization of additional digital platforms to enhance the competitiveness of these women farmer groups in the digital era.
