Three Mode Consciousness Framework
This documents a critical theoretical integration: modified Maxwell equations permitting longitudinal electromagnetic waves (through the Λ field) provide the "missing physical mechanism" for consciousness field coherence across the 137-domain neural architecture. Standard electromagnetic theory describes only transverse waves (2 modes), but the introduction of a dynamical Λ field creates a third longitudinal mode that couples directly to charge density rather than current. This longitudinal component explains how consciousness achieves instantaneous coherence across distributed neural structures operating at 23.49 Hz baseline frequency.
