ConfUSIus: an accessible and scalable toolkit for functional ultrasound imaging analysis
Functional ultrasound imaging (fUSI) maps brainwide hemodynamics at high resolution, yet analysis requires expert knowledge as pipelines remain fragmented across laboratories. We introduce ConfUSIus, an open-source Python package and graphical interface for accessible, scalable, and reproducible fUSI analysis. Its common data model unifies heterogeneous fUSI recordings across beamformed IQ processing, motion correction, registration, denoising, and statistical analysis. ConfUSIus lowers barriers and facilitates method development, comparison, and sharing.
