Pemanfaatan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Aplikasi Digital untuk Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Elementary school students’ interest in learning often declines when lessons are monotonous, while children are more familiar with using mobile devices for entertainment than for study. This article aims to examine the use of digital application-based learning media to increase elementary school students’ interest in learning. The method is a literature review using a Narrative Literature Review technique, which examines and synthesizes secondary data from books and journal articles in narrative form. The review shows that digital applications such as Quizizz, Kahoot, and Wordwall foster interest in four ways: visuals, sound, and animation attract attention; game elements make learning enjoyable; immediate feedback builds confidence; and answering and choosing activities keep students actively engaged. Previous studies in science, social studies, and arts and culture show a consistent pattern, but the size of the effect varies, so applications should be seen as a support for teachers rather than a replacement. Their use is still limited by scarce devices and internet access, uneven teacher digital skills, and students who are easily distracted. These challenges can be addressed through teacher training, suitable application selection, supervision, and time management. When used appropriately, digital applications can turn mobile devices from entertainment tools into learning tools that sustainably increase elementary school students’ interest in learning
