Purpose. Determination of optimal parameters of the process of dehydration of enrichment products under the combined influence of electric current and filtration mechanism in order to minimize the residual moisture of the material. Method. The study was performed using the method of experimental planning using steep ascent. The influence of the main factors was studied: compaction pressure, distance between electrodes, current exposure time, current density and material layer height. The results were processed using regression analysis. Results. A regression equation was obtained describing the dehydration process, and the significance of the factors was determined. The optimal process parameters were established, at which the minimum moisture content of the material is achieved: compaction pressure – 56 kPa, distance between electrodes – 12.8 cm, current exposure time – 34 s, current density – 0.26 A/cm2, layer height – 15 cm. Scientific novelty. The effectiveness of the combined dehydration method, which involves the local effect of electric current on the surface layer of the material with the formation of steam and the creation of excess pressure, which intensifies the process of moisture removal, is substantiated. Practical importance. The proposed method allows to reduce energy consumption and increase the intensity of dehydration, which can be used in technological processes of processing enrichment products.
