An Exploration of the Mechanisms for Transmitting Ecological Knowledge in Rice-Farming Festivals in Dong Villages of Southeast Guizhou

{'en': 'To clarify the process of ecological knowledge transmission during rice-farming festivals in the Dong villages of Southeast Guizhou, this study employs methods of festival chronology, ritual activity analysis, and village spatial analysis to examine intergenerational family transmission, village collective practices, festival practices, and cultural-tourism adaptation mechanisms.The results indicate that the determination of agricultural timings, rice cultivation practices, and production collaboration rely on the drum tower, village square, and rice paddies to facilitate demonstration, participation, verification, and refinement. It is recommended to maintain the frequency of these practices, strengthen youth participation, and conduct annual reviews.'}
