The study was carried out using the frequency table with percentages and chi-square to analyze the data collected in the course of the research work. The sample of this research is calculated using the Taro Yamane with 95% confidence level through the distribution of 223 questionnaires distributed to academic staff of four private Universities in Osun State. The findings of the study revealed that increase or decrease in the volume of academic staff with entrepreneurship intentions in private Universities has direct bearing on source of capital and a key determinant factor for entrepreneurship intentions. The study recommends that governments should enact laws and put the necessary institutions in place that could provide sources of income that could trigger entrepreneurship intentions; this would deepen the inclusion of this sector of the national working force in contributing to economic growth and development.
