Faktor Penentu Kesediaan Petani Lahan Kering Mengadopsi Sistem Nyakap Kurma di Kabupaten Lombok Utara
North Lombok Regency has considerable potential for date palm cultivation on dry land, supported by suitable agroclimatic conditions and the development of the nyakap partnership system involving landowners, management companies, and investors. However, farmers' willingness to adopt this system remains limited. This study aims to describe the socioeconomic characteristics of farmers participating in the nyakap system and identify the factors influencing dry-land farmers' willingness to adopt it in North Lombok Regency.A survey was conducted involving 40 farmers selected through purposive sampling.Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and binary logistic regression. The dependent variable was categorized into two outcomes: willing to adopt (1) and unwilling to adopt (0), justifying the application of binary logistic regression.Four independent variables were examined: land area, income dependence on existing land, perceived benefits of the nyakap system, and technical capability in date palm cultivation. The results indicated that the regression model was statistically significant (Omnibus Test, p<0.05), with a Nagelkerke R Square of 0.810 and an overall classification accuracy of 90.0%.The Wald test revealed that income dependence on existing land had a significant negative association with farmers' willingness to adopt the system, whereas perceived benefits had a significant positive association.Land area and technical capability showed no significant associations. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening perceived economic benefits and developing income-risk mitigation mechanisms to encourage farmers' willingness to participate in the nyakap partnership system.
