Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Bola Basket Berbasis Buku Digital Interaktif Menggunakan Metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle

Physical Education, Sport, and Health (PJOK) learning on basketball material is generally still dominated by direct explanation from teachers and printed textbooks, so students have limited independent learning media to review basic techniques outside class hours. This study aims to develop a basketball learning media based on an interactive digital book using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, which consists of six stages: concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The media was developed as a web-based flipbook covering six basic basketball techniques, namely passing, dribbling, lay up, shooting, rebound, and pivot, presented through text, illustrations, and demonstration videos. The population of this study was 706 students of SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja, with a sample of 88 students determined using the Slovin formula. Feasibility testing was carried out through practitioner validation and data collection from students using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The results showed that the developed media obtained a feasibility percentage of 81.00% (“very feasible”) from practitioner validation and 80.90% (“feasible”) from student responses, with the ease-of-use aspect obtaining the highest percentage. These findings indicate that the interactive digital book media is feasible to be used as a supporting learning medium for basketball material.
