Faktor-Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Beban Kerja Perawat di Ruang Rawat Inap Rumah Sakit X Bekasi Tahun 2026
Nurses’ workload is an important issue in hospital services because it can affect nurses’ physical and mental well-being as well as patient safety. Nurses at Hospital X Bekasi face service demands related to shift work, working hours, and rest periods, which may vary during the delivery of care. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between age, working hours, rest periods, and work shifts and nurses’ workload in the inpatient wards of Hospital X Bekasi in 2026. This study used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The study sample consisted of 62 nurses selected using total sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires to assess workload and respondent characteristics. The data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses with the Chi-Square test and Fisher’s Exact Test. The results showed that most nurses had a moderate-to-heavy workload, comprising 47 respondents (75.8%). Bivariate analysis showed significant relationships between age and workload (p=0.026) and between work shifts and workload (p=0.024). Meanwhile, working hours (p=0.713) and rest periods (p=1.000) were not significantly associated with nurses’ workload. The findings indicate that, among the four independent variables examined, age and work shifts were significantly associated with nurses’ workload, whereas working hours and rest periods were not significantly associated with nurses’ workload in the inpatient wards of Hospital X Bekasi in 2026.
