Necessary measures to increase the quantity and improve the quality of fish products from the Dagestan coast of the Caspian Sea and the inland water bodies of Dagestan linked to it

The article provides a detailed analysis of the commercial fish fauna of the Dagestan coast of the Caspian basin and the inland water bodies of the republic, presenting the main commercial species and their state. A necessary measure is the construction of fish hatcheries for the breeding of Terek brown trout (Salmo trutta) and Samur brown trout (Salmo trutta) To increase the quantity and quality of fish products, a number of measures are required: limiting the fishing area, properly locating fishing operations in compliance with all requirements of the fishery protection authorities, and ensuring that fishing organizations take care of fish stocks.
