Public-Private Relations: An Open Inventory

Public-Private Relations: An Open Inventory is being prepared to classify and compile recent scholarly discussions on relationships between the public and private sectors, with the aim of reducing the literature search burden for young scholars interested in this field. The topics covered are organized into three levels: 9 major topics, 69 intermediate topics, and 344 subtopics. The detailed classification scheme is presented in Version 00: Classification Scheme. That document also provides guidelines for recording the literature reviewed in subsequent versions. In preparing The Inventory, I have established several principles: To use AI. To investigate and include literature across the 344 subtopics in the classification scheme as evenly as possible. To refrain from making qualitative judgments about the papers included. This principle was adopted primarily to make the Inventory easier to manage. At present, the Inventory contains only a small number of publications. It will be updated regularly. I hope it will prove useful. V00: Classification Scheme * Note: This document is lengthy. Please consider carefully before printing. V01 onward: No further information will be provided. * Note: The document is really truly lengthy. Please bear in mind that the literature surveyed and included in any version of the Inventory may have very limited coverage. I hope you will regard it as a stepping stone for further research.
