Background to study Migrant entrepreneurs in Gauteng province rely on rotating stokvels due to difficulty in securing business loans from other sources such as commercial banks and microfinance institutions. Aim of study The objective of study was to explore the symbiotic relationship between migrant entrepreneurs conducting retail business activities in the various regions of Gauteng province, South Africa by using quantitative methods of data gathering and analysis.
