ThoxOS and ThoxInux: Architecture, Evidence, and a Validation Protocol for Local-First AI
Public technical draft, revision 0.2.0-review. This technical report examines the ThoxOS program with ThoxInux, its Ginux-derived, Rust-first x86-64 foundation. It reconciles an earlier Linux-based design with current source and release records, distinguishes reusable component evidence from integrated-system evidence, and defines a falsifiable validation protocol covering workload compatibility, resident-agent lifecycle, offline operation, update recovery, model behavior, and device feasibility. Classification: public technical draft; experimental validation is incomplete. This deposit is not a peer-reviewed publication and no arXiv submission is claimed. The manuscript, LaTeX source, bibliography, and a 28-claim evidence ledger are published in the linked GitHub release.
