A Deep Learning for Automatic Waste Sorting System with SSD-MobileNet Algorithm
Efficient and effective waste management in an academic environment is important to maintain cleanliness and environmental sustainability. Waste management carried out within Telkom University still has challenges, such as the lack of proper waste sorting and limited supporting facilities. The main problem of this research is how to develop an automatic waste sorting system that can overcome these obstacles. This research offers a solution by developing an automatic waste sorting system that uses sensor technology and data processing using deep learning to separate waste based on predetermined categories. With deep learning in the waste sorting system, it is expected that waste management will become more efficient and time-saving.
