Are antibiotics administered orally or via intravenous route in stages 1, 2, and 3 of medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ)?
Antibiotic treatment for MRONJ predominantly involves oral administration, thought efficient for stages 1 and 2; however, intravenous routes are sometimes indicated, especially in stage 3 for severe infections. More targeted research is needed to confirm the most effective routes at each MRONJ stage.
