3D-Printed Gaming Accessories in India: Search Demand and Product Landscape, 2025–2026
This short white paper reads public search demand for console-controller holders in India against industry reports on gaming and 3D printing. It analyses two Google Trends exports for India (2 November 2025 to 2 November 2026) that list eight related queries. Core queries such as "ps5 controller holder" (relative interest 100) were stable, with changes of −4% to +10%. Figure-style queries grew fastest: "controller holder figure" rose 100%, and "ps5 controller holder figure" reached Breakout, meaning growth above 5,000% from a small base. One how-to query, "how to connect ps5 controller to pc", also reached Breakout. Industry reports describe India as a mobile-first market, with about 95% of gamers on mobile, so console and PC accessories serve a niche inside a large base. For makers of 3D-printed holders, the data point to decorative designs and setup guidance as growth areas, while published materials research suggests that print material and layer direction decide durability. Trends data are relative, cover one year, and the seed term was not recorded, so the findings are descriptive, not causal. Supplementary data: the two Google Trends CSV exports analysed in this paper.
