Leveraging AI- Driven Predictive Analytics for Early Detection and Risk Assessment in Hospital Disaster Preparedness

Disaster management in the hospital has become a critical issue especially with the coming of COVID-19 pandemics which caused several losses of lives. Thus, the study presented a conceptual approach to understand how disasters could result into emergencies in the hospital and what measure could be adopted to stop the future occurrence of this menace. Several literatures were consulted and findings revealed that hospital disaster management is inevitable, however, developing measures to avert its occurrence is more important than its occurrence. Therefore, leveraging artificial intelligence driven tools like predictive analytics has the potentials of developing an evacuation concept that will serve as a support system for hospitals or group of hospitals. More so, the approach requires a multidisciplinary team involving the collaboration of several fields. Thus, the study provides a great insight into the improvement of the field to determine its effectiveness and efficiency. .

Abstract

Thus, the study provides a great insight into the improvement of the field to determine its effectiveness and efficiency. .
