Technological Design in Construction Works as a Means of Competitiveness Improvement of Contracting Agencies

A continuous improvement of construction efficiency is a critical requirement for enhancing competitiveness and ensuring the survival of any contracting agency on the construction market. However, in the absence of centralized funding for the development of new technologies and sluggish interest from the construction industry, innovation may come from few remaining construction universities and academies in the country. Purpose: A new approach is proposed for the technological design of construction processes increasing their efficiency for construction agencies. Research findings: Instead of the total control, the proposed approach gives a visual answer to the question of how to quickly and with high quality perform the technological process or an important technological operation. But this is possible only if the process chart developer is familiar with the physical basis of the process. The process chart developer and consumer must be able to legally protect their innovative solutions.
