GRAMMATICAL SIMILARITIES BETWEEN THE KOREAN AND UZBEK LANGUAGES: A COMPARATIVE TYPOLOGICAL ANALYSIS
The article presents a comparative typological analysis of grammatical similarities between the Korean and Uzbek languages. It examines their agglutinative structure, SOV word order, systems of case markers and particles, pre-nominal modification, verb forms, negation and honorifics. The findings show which grammatical features make Korean easier for Uzbek-speaking learners and which ones remain difficult. The study stresses that the closeness of the two languages is typological rather than genealogical.
