Integrovaná databáze filmových scén: pedagogické situace ve filmech 1932-1969

This dataset contains a qualitative analysis of 99 pedagogical scenes identified in 16 Czech feature films produced between 1932 and 1968. It documents cinematic representations of teachers, pupils, educational practices, school authority, and the social functions of schooling across three historically defined film clusters. Each scene is identified by a unique code and timecode and accompanied by a description, interpretative notes, and primary and, where applicable, secondary thematic codes. The database also includes film metadata, a taxonomy of seven types of pedagogical situations, coding guidelines, and supplementary analytical comments. The dataset serves as the empirical basis for a study examining historical changes in the representation of teachers and schooling in Czech cinema. It is intended to support research transparency, further qualitative analysis, and comparative studies of educational representations in film.
