ANALISIS WAKTU AKUISISI TERHADAP CITRA PADA PEMERIKSAAN SIDIK SELURUH TUBUH POST-TERAPI I-131 KEDOKTERAN NUKLIR DENGAN KLINIS KANKER TIROID DI RSUP DR. HASAN SADIKIN BANDUNG
Post-therapy whole body scan (WBS) I-131 acquisition parameters such as scan speed are adjusted according to the patient's radiation exposure rate to optimize clinical workflow efficiency. This study aims to determine the correlation between exposure rate, scan speed, and planar whole body image quality during post-therapy WBS I-131 at the Nuclear Medicine Installation of RSUP Dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung. This quantitative analytical retrospective study with an observational approach utilized secondary protocol data from 30 thyroid cancer patients acquired between January and February 2026. Image quality was visually evaluated by a nuclear medicine specialist using a 1–5 visual grading scale, and the data were analyzed using the Spearman rank correlation test (p < 0.05). The results demonstrated a significant negative correlation between scan speed and image quality (r = -0.389; p = 0.034), alongside a significant positive correlation between exposure rate and scan speed (r = 0.438; p = 0.015). Conversely, no statistically significant correlation was identified between patient exposure rate and final image quality (r = -0.010; p = 0.959).
