Hubungan antara Pengetahuan, Peran Tenaga Kesehatan, Akses Informasi, dan Peran Tokoh Masyarakat dengan Perilaku Penerimaan Inovasi Teknologi Wolbachia

This study aims to analyze the factors associated with the acceptance of Wolbachia technology in RW 06, Kembangan Utara Village, West Jakarta, in 2026. This quantitative study employs a cross-sectional design. Data collection took place from May to July 2026 and involved a sample of 108 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected via a questionnaire administered through interviews and then analyzed using univariate and bivariate tests, specifically the chi-square test. The results showed that the majority of respondents exhibited a positive attitude toward Wolbachia technology (66.7%), had good knowledge (66.7%), rated the role of healthcare workers as good (61.1%), reported both good and poor access to information (50% each), and rated the role of community leaders as good (66.7%). Bivariate analysis revealed significant associations between knowledge (p=0.000; PR=3.538), the role of health workers (p=0.021; PR=1.954), access to information (p=0.025; PR=2.000), and the role of community leaders (p=0.001; PR=2.500) and acceptance behavior. Knowledge, the role of healthcare workers, access to information, and the role of community leaders are key determinants that influence the acceptance of Wolbachia technology innovations. The Sub-Department of Health is advised to consistently improve educational efforts, distribute informational materials such as brochures equitably, and strengthen strategic collaborations with neighborhood (RT) and sub-neighborhood (RW) leaders, college students, mosquito control volunteers, and influencers to widely disseminate information to the public.
