ADJUSTMENT CAPACITY AND ITS RELATIONSHIP WITH ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AMONG POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS
In the present era of globalization, people in India have increasingly recognized the importance of both academic excellence and the overall development of students. Achieving success is the primary goal of student life, and adjustment is an essential human characteristic. Adjustment is a continuous process that helps individuals improve their behavior and attitudes, enabling them to harmonize with their environment, the people around them, and their needs. This paper attempts to examine the relationship between the adjustment capacity and academic achievement of postgraduate (PG) students. The study was conducted on 300 PG-level students in the Purulia district of West Bengal to evaluate their adjustment capacity and academic performance, and to determine the correlation between the two.
