Faktor-Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Kepatuhan Terapi pada Pasien Hipertensi di RS X Kabupaten Sarolangun
Hypertension is a chronic disease that requires long-term treatment; therefore, adherence to therapy is essential to prevent complications and improve patients’ quality of life. This study aimed to determine the relationship between demographic factors, clinical factors, and healthcare access with therapy adherence among hypertensive patients at RS X, Sarolangun Regency. A quantitative study with a cross-sectional design was conducted from March to April 2026, involving 61 respondents selected as the study sample. Data were collected and analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses, with the chi-square test applied to examine relationships between variables. The results showed that most respondents were non-adherent to therapy (65.5%). Bivariate analysis revealed a significant relationship between gender and therapy adherence (p = 0.039). However, no significant relationships were found between therapy adherence and age (p = 0.074), occupation (p = 0.610), duration of hypertension (p = 0.753), number of medications (p = 0.662), comorbidities (p = 0.486), distance to healthcare facilities (p = 0.756), or transportation accessibility (p = 0.355). These findings indicate that gender was the only factor significantly associated with therapy adherence in this study
