Explicit definition of the w_eff comparison for Theory of Equilibrium v5.0
Clarification note defining the w_eff comparison for the Theory of Equilibrium v5.0 preregistration (DOI 10.5281/zenodo.23305333). It states that −1.05 is w_eff at redshift zero (today's value), not a constant and not a redshift average; that H(z) comes from the RT nonlocal gravity plus cosmological constant background model itself; and how the comparison against Euclid and DESI expansion-history and supernova measurements is to be run, including what counts as contradiction. This note clarifies and does not change the frozen v5.0 prediction. Author: Timothy M. Zimmer, independent researcher. Dated November 2, 2026, before Euclid DR1 Foundation (November 12, 2026).
