Gamma delta T cell receptors.
The HSC is specified to E/MK progenitors or to myeloid and lymphoid precursors, wherein the lymphoid precursor is specified to B and T cells; the T cell is specified to alpha beta or gamma delta T cells based on the TCR they express. The mouse and human both possess fetal and adult gamma delta T cells which are thymically derived. In fetal thymic gamma delta T cells at 17 weeks, Zbtb16 and Sox13 specified the gamma delta T cell.
