The article presents a comprehensive analysis of modern methods for the treatment of surface and groundwater intended for greenhouse complexes in the Black Sea region of Ukraine. Physical, chemical, biological, membrane, sorption and thermal methods of water treatment are considered, as well as the features of their application in water supply systems of modern greenhouse farms. Purpose. The aim of the study is to evaluate the efficiency of modern water treatment technologies for greenhouse complexes taking into account the quality of source water, energy efficiency of technological processes, investment costs and the possibilities of integrating water treatment systems into the overall energy infrastructure of greenhouses. Method. The study employs methods of system analysis, comparison of physicochemical water quality indicators and purification technologies, generalization of modern scientific research in the field of water treatment, greenhouse technologies and energy-efficient water supply systems, as well as methods of analytical assessment of energy consumption and techno-economic characteristics of water treatment systems. Results. The quality of surface and groundwater of the Black Sea region of Ukraine was assessed and it was found that they are characterized by increased mineralization, high hardness, significant chloride content and periodic pollution by organic and man-made components. It was shown that traditional physical and chemical methods provide effective removal of suspended solids and partial softening of water, but do not allow to fully solve the problem of preparing irrigation water of the required quality. It was found that the most promising for greenhouse complexes are combined water treatment systems. Scientific novelty. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the comprehensive comparative analysis of modern methods for the treatment of surface and groundwater under the conditions of the Black Sea region of Ukraine, taking into account energy efficiency, techno-economic indicators and suitability for all-season greenhouse complexes. Practical importance. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the possibility of their application in the design of greenhouse water treatment systems, selection of rational technological schemes for water purification, reduction of energy consumption for irrigation water preparation and improvement of water resource efficiency in greenhouse farming.
