Perumusan Strategi Pengembangan Usaha Tani Bawang Merah di Kecamatan Anggeraja Kabupaten Enrekang: Pendekatan SWOT-AHP

The agricultural sector plays a pivotal role in sustaining food security and fostering national economic growth. This study aims to formulate and prioritize development strategies for shallot farming in Anggeraja Subdistrict, Enrekang Regency.Employing a quantitative approach, the research integrates a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) matrix to formulate alternative strategies, alongside an Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine policy priorities.Primary data were collected through structured surveys, expert interviews, and field observations. The empirical results indicate that the strategic position falls within the aggressive quadrant (Quadrant I), suggesting that optimizing internal strengths to capitalize on external opportunities potentially serves as the most viable strategic trajectory.Furthermore, the analysis reveals that the implementation of appropriate technology and integrated agricultural information systems constitutes the foremost priority for enhancing labor allocation efficiency and commodity output quality. These findings provide evidence that technology-driven strategies particularly leveraging post-harvest infrastructure and digital information systems are crucial in transforming marketing channels, dismantling intermediary monopolies, and buffering farmers against severe price depreciations during peak harvest periods.Ultimately, this study suggests critical policy implications for local authorities in designing targeted, evidence-based interventions to facilitate the transformation of the horticultural sector in Enrekang Regency.
