ABSTRACT [EN] — PROMETHEUS_PROJECT_XXI_CENTURY (GenTechnionB): This work presents the three-dimensional neutronic and thermodynamic validation of the GenTechnionB compact modular fusion reactor, overcoming the simplifications of previous homogeneous models through the implementation of a heterogeneous industrial architecture based on the submerged-core concept. To enable radial compactness while preserving neutron economy and peripheral cryogenic stability, the design integrates four coupled materials and nuclear transport engineering solutions: (1) a segmented eutectic lithium-lead (LiPb) breeding blanket isotopically enriched to 90.0 at.% in ⁶Li with an operational density of 9.6 g/cm³ (300–550 °C) cooled by pressurized helium (HCLL architecture); (2) a ferritic-martensitic EUROFER97 structural steel first wall coated with a 2 mm pure tungsten armor (ρ = 19.3 g/cm³), whose inelastic scattering W(n,n'γ) acts as a frontal spectral conditioner (anvil effect); (3) hybrid cellular equatorial support macrostructures (30% EUROFER97 + 50% graphite + 20% helium) and nuclear graphite reflector liners (ρ = 1.7 g/cm³) along penetration ducts; and (4) a moderator-absorber peripheral shield composed of 80% boron carbide (B₄C, ρ = 2.52 g/cm³) and 20% water (H₂O), coupled to directional shielding plugs and to the capillary-network cooling system of the superconducting coils. Evaluated via stochastic Monte Carlo simulations using the OpenMC transport code (v0.15.3) under cross-validation with the FENDL-3.2 and ENDF/B-VIII.0 reference nuclear data libraries, the study spans from the recertification of the compact baseline (Case 12, with 100 million cumulative particle histories) to the full three-dimensional industrial model (Case 28, executed with 200 million total particle histories) incorporating two orthogonal equatorial ports and a basal W/CuCrZr/H₂O divertor cassette. The results demonstrate that, despite coverage losses from structural penetrations and directional neutron streaming, the system sustains a global Tritium Breeding Ratio (TBR) of 1.26766 ± 0.00010 (FENDL-3.2) and 1.26733 ± 0.00011 (ENDF/B-VIII.0), exceeding the reference design requirement (1.15) and bounding nuclear heating in the superconducting magnets between 414.94 ± 3.16 and 482.80 ± 3.45 eV/source particle.
