The Grid Agent
A record-only layer of the Orbital Network keeping grid operators' published load and generation — one station per operator, exactly as published — in the permanent record. The layer opened on November 2, 2026 with two operators whose official real-time publications verified keyless and live on the day of the build: MISO (hourly Cleared MW from its Real Time Total Load report) and ERCOT (hourly generation by fuel from its dashboard fuel mix). Values are stored exactly as published, never blended across operators; the paper states the method, the three stated normalizations, what the layer is not (no outage record, no forecasts, no warnings, no grid operations), the Grid Agent's charter and cross-references, and the expansion path through EIA-930.
