MODELING A FORCED CARBODY TILTING SYSTEM FOR HIGH-SPEED ELECTRIC TRAINS

The paper examines the modelling of a carbody tilting system for Afrosiab-type high-speed electric trains. Particular attention is given to train operation on curved track, where the permissible running speed must be considered together with passenger ride comfort and the forces transmitted to the infrastructure. Numerical calculations of the adopted mechanical scheme were carried out in Mathcad 15.
