Peran Moderasi Firm Size pada Hubungan Sustainability Reporting terhadap Kinerja Keuangan
This study aims to analyze the effect of Sustainability Reporting on financial performance with Firm Size as a moderating variable in energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Financial performance is measured using Return on Assets (ROA). This study employed a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling technique. The sample consisted of 64 energy sector companies, resulting in a total of 164 observations after outlier elimination. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the assistance of SPSS version 25. The results show that Sustainability Reporting has no significant effect on corporate financial performance. This finding indicates that sustainability disclosure does not directly improve a company's ability to generate profits from its assets. However, Firm Size was found to moderate the effect of Sustainability Reporting on the financial performance of energy sector companies. The positive regression coefficient of the interaction variable indicates that Firm Size tends to strengthen the relationship between Sustainability Reporting and financial performance. Therefore, larger companies have greater capacity to utilize sustainability disclosure to support financial performance.
