Recycling concrete demolition waste for monolithic and precast concrete production
This research addresses critical environmental issues by introducing an efficient method for recycling and reusing construction and demolition waste generated from old buildings. A comprehensive study was conducted on rubble concrete to evaluate whether coarse aggregates derived from recycled concrete waste comply with international standard requirements. The experimental results justify the application of these recycled products in both monolithic concreting and the manufacturing of precast concrete. By proposing a sustainable waste utilization model, this study demonstrates a significant reduction in the environmental footprint of the construction industry.
